What’s your favorite @OutOfTokensCast episode of 2016?

We wanted to know what your favorite episode of 2016 is! So we made a wee google form with every episode in chrono order that was released this year. The only one we excluded was the re-post of the Games Critique as POC episode since it really wasn’t a new episode but one of our first when the show launched in 2015.

So take the poll! Let us know what episodes moved you, what you liked and what you didn’t.

Give us feedback so we can improve in 2017! Also, check out the episodes where we used Ringr and let us know what you thought about sound quality, etc. Those are:

Speaking of feedback, here’s a lovely letter we got after this week’s episode with Laura Kate Dale aired.  You can email us at freshoutoftokens@gmail.com or reach out on twitter @OutOfTokensCast

Thank you Silver for being with us from the beginning and sticking with us! We appreciate you and thank you again for this lovely letter, it’s great when we get feedback from our listeners.

Hi Tanya and David,

Last episode you asked if anyone had listened to every episode. I’m happy to say that I have.  I just wanted to write in and let you know how much I love the show.  You are both amazing as are your guests and all the hard work you are all doing.

I also wanted to thank you and many guests for changing my mind on Dragon Age II.  I didn’t really dislike DAII but I found it kind of uninspiring as compared to the other games in the series, however after listening to the episode where you and a few guests talked about your feelings and experiences with DAII that I started to see it in a new and unique way.  I decided to replay it after that episode and did really enjoy it.

As a white person I hadn’t really ever thought about the immigration story unfolding in the game.  I think I really missed a lot of the depth the first time I played it.  Your show inspired me to give it another shot and look deeper to see all the great things that you all saw.   While it’s still my least favorite DA game (which is like being number 3 on a top ten list) I now appreciate and enjoy it so much more.  So thank you!

Anyways your show is great and I’ll be listening each week!  Thank you for introducing me to so many new perspectives and highlighting such interesting people and projects in gaming.

Silver
